Im finding the Canon 5Diii’s HDR Mode very useful in shooting sunsets, with grad filters, even if the final shot is only a JPEG, its a very quick workflow, I spent about 1 minute processing this. While this isnt a true HDR shot, to be able to get an even exposure of the sun to the point you can see it’s edge (and not blow it out) as well as the rest of the sky, that quick HDR mode did the trick. I also used a .9 Grad filter to the horizon.
