Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens
Covering a useful range of focal lengths, the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S is a versatile zoom, spanning wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives. Its constant f/4 maximum aperture maintains a consistent exposure throughout the zoom range and also helps to realize a more compact and lightweight alternative to an f/2.8 zoom. In regard to the optical design, a unique aspherical extra-low dispersion element, in addition to three aspherical elements, is used to help reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range in order to achieve high image sharpness and clarity. Both Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings have also been applied to control flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color rendering in bright and backlit conditions.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Lens
This is a very solid 50mm for the price. Not as wide as the 1.4, but still a GREAT value.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E
Its a jaw dropper. The best Nikon 70-200 of all time. Ive never seen anything like it in terms of sharpness and overall performance and that includes vs Canon and Sonys 70-200 2.8 zooms. It is that good. This lens is the main reason I am mostly a Nikon Full Frame Portrait shooter now. Simply amazing.
Tamron 18-270 f/3.5-6.3mm AF (Nikon Mount - DX)
This is my recommended lens choice for photographers just starting out. For the money this lens is a very good quality. It will also give you a range of focal lengths that are ideal for most shooting situations. Keep in mind, it is a DX lens, meaning it is made for crop sensors. FX bodies can use it in DX mode, but you lose a lot of resolution.
Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8
Widely regarded as the greatest wide angle zoom of all time, it is well known many Canon users seek out and exploit the advantages of this lens through adapters. I am not aware of a better wide angle with corner to edge sharpness.
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8
This is a great lens for weddings, portraits, and even street photography. This mid-range of focal lengths is ideal for the many common photographic needs. This is a great performing lens and sometimes all you need in your bag to cover you needs. If you are an FX shooter (full frame), it should probably be your first choice.
Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AF
Prime lenses are a top choice for professional photographers. The 50mm 1.4 is known for it's unsurpassed sharpness. It's fast aperture will get you great shots in low light. Many professional photographers have built their careers with just this lens. If you have the money, it's a "must have".
Nikon 70-200 f/2.8
This is Nikon's best telephoto zoom yet. Capable of superbly sharp images at all focal lengths thanks to the excellent vibration reduction feature. This lens is ideal for your sports and wildlife photography. This is the go-to lens for professionals and serious amateur's looking for the perfect telephoto zoom lens.
