An Absolutely Amazing Customer Service Experience With Bhphoto.com
I just have to share this story, mind blowingly awesome.
As many of you know, I have been sponsored by Bhphoto.com
for a long time, and they often support many of the Epic Shootouts I do (I will state specifically so when this is the case), I am an affiliate (which means if you click on a Bhphoto.com link to a piece of equipment, I get a few pennies on the dollar as a commission, but I am also a BHphoto.com customer
. In fact the vast majority (95%) of my transactions are me buying camera gear from BH.
So recently, I purchased a very expensive Sony A9
, and a few days later I was browsing its specs on their website and saw this:
Which basically meant that within a few days after my purchase, Bhphoto and Sandisk decided to put on a promotional for the 128 GB Sandisk UHSII card, a $250 value. Suffice it to say I was a little bummed to know I missed the promotion by a few days.
I decided to try anyway, wrote to their customer service about the offer and asked if it were possible I could still be considered, and within 24 hours, I received an email saying they were sending the card without delay. I think it is important to note, the customer service people didnt know who I was, and I would assume this is the same treatment they would give any customer. Its a little known fact bhphoto has a no questions asked return policy, so if you buy a camera or lens you don't like, you typically have 30 days to return it.
IN regards to this card, just wow! Thats incredible customer service and just another reason I buy most of my gear at BH. They literally gave me a $250 product that I would have been eligible for had I not purchased so early.
