The University of Hawaii and Pan-STARRS have released the largest photo ever of the known universe.

Pan-STARRS1 is an observatory located on Maui. Boasting the biggest astronomical camera in the world they it offers 1.5 billion pixels. After four years of surveying the sky they are releasing all of that data for everyone to download and study. If it were printed as a single image it would span over 1.5 miles.
