Made it down to Tucson today to visit the Titan Missile Museum. Took a one hour guided tour which included a 17 minute video about the history and reasons for the program. The main emphasis was that peace could be achieved through the deterrence of a nuclear arsenal during the cold war, and thankfully it worked.

The guided tour took us through the command center and 3 different window access points to the missile bay and Titan II missile itself. My understanding is that it is the last remaining for historical purposes.

The best position for photography was from the top of the silo, through a glass window which I got this shot.
