I spent a good chunk of yesterday working on some programming that required me to show some video on the page (streamed from YouTube) but the problem was, the videos were too big. With just a little tweaking you can resize YouTube vids to be just about any size. This is a neat and handy trick to know….very easy to do. Check it out:All you have to do is type the new dimensions of your desired viewing box. Just make sure you do it in both places in the code as I have done for each of these three examples. Thats all there is to it…just make sure the dimensions are proportional. I also know there is a code that forces YouTube to play your videos at the highest resolution which means if you uploaded it in high def, you can make it play in high def (as long as its less than 100MB). Does anyone know what that code is? I can’t seem to find it.
