Im doing some tests on an AR Drone. Extremely cool, but disappointingly difficult to learn to fly…right now the only place I feel really comfortable trying it out is over my bed because I crash so much. Another gripe is that a fully charged battery (which takes 3 hours to charge) lasts about 10 minutes of non-stop flying.

Yes, you fly it with your iPhone or iPad- one of the controls lets you tilt your device in the direction you want to lean. Parrot, the company that makes them did an outstanding job in execution, it is really a very neat little gadget. I think with a few hours of practice over the weekend I should be ready to take it outside.
