Christies recently held an auction for a pair of matching “Singing Bird Pistols”, they sold for $5.8 Million Dollars. Taking into consideration that they were made in the 1820’s (190 years ago) I am in awe of the mechanics and craftsmanship to pull something like this off. The fact that they are still working and in excellent condition- this is pretty much mind blowing:

(Note: This is also a solid example of how excellent macro photography and videography can help sell a product.)
