Spent the afternoon at Hookipa Park, which is regarded by many as the number one place to windsurf in the world.
Summer months the swells arent as big so I decided on taking pictures of surfers. It was great, but I learned that I am going to need a MUCH bigger lens if I want to get the shots I am thinking of. The Canon 70-200 2.8 IS L plus one 2x extender on the 7D (Equivalent of 640mm) just wasn’t enough reach. There are so many places here I want to check out and become more familiar with.
These were my 3 favorite shots of the day:

how did you get that third picture? Awesome!
Nice pictures Michael! So were you shooting at the full zoom? What settings were using? How many shots did you take?
@ Bill- Third shot was looking into the sun as it was going down, it made the water shine everywhere, it was beautiful. @ James, yes, this was full zoom, with an extender and the top one was cropped, other two not. Shutter Speed on first 2 was 1/1250, last was 1/400. f5 on first 2, f 8 on last.
