Great input everyone…interesting answers and insights.

As promised, here is the first part of my response to the “Golfing Dilemma”. I think you will all enjoy this….

I want to play a game that will help the Golfing Dilemma answer make more sense. I will now post two questions, and if you want to play, post a simple “yes” or “no” response to each question in the comment box with your name.

If you give an answer to both of these questions, I will be able to tell you something about yourself, and you will also see how you are wired mentally towards questions like this. I was given the same set of questions a few years ago and it was a real eye opener. Some of you have already played this game with me before, and you may figure out what this has to do with the Golfing Dilemma. I will post the complete answer tomorrow. ?

Question One:

You are in Bath and Body Works and have just tried the most amazing strawberry hand lotion ever! It costs $11 per bottle and as you walk to the cash register, the clerk whispers: “you can get that same bottle for just $4 at our other store which is a 5 minute walk away.”

Would you walk to the other store to save $7?

Question Two:

You are about to purchase a new business suit that costs $517- don’t worry, its worth it- AMAZING! You are ready to be fitted, have the cash in hand, and as you approach the cash register, the clerk whispers to you: “You can get that same suit for $510 at our other store which is a 5 minute walk away.”

Would you walk to the other store to save $7?

Be sure to have a Yes / No for each- you are welcome to describe your reasoning if you would like.
